Chicken Crackers

1 packet of HMR® 500 Chicken Soup

1-2 tablespoons of Water

Pam

 

  • Pour 1 packet of HMR® 500 Chicken Soup into a small bowl
  • Add 1-2 tablespoons of water
  • Mix the two together with a spoon until it forms a paste
  • Spray a microwave-safe plate with Pam
  • Scoop the paste mixture onto the plate in four separate "Dabs"
  • Place in microwave for 1.5 – 2 minutes (Note: times vary so watch the crackers rise then fall before removing.  Longer cook times result in crispier crackers)
  • Immediately lift crackers off of the plate using a spatula
  • Let stand for 30 seconds then Enjoy!

Hearty Winter Soups:

Souped-Up Pasta Fagioli

1 HMR® Pasta Fagioli Entree
1 vegetable bouillon cube
2 cups hot water
1 cup cooked cut green beans
½ cup cannellini beans
Dash of garlic powder
Dash of red pepper flakes (optional)

Dissolve bouillon cube in hot water. Place bouillon, entree, green beans, and cannellini beans, and garlic powder in a microwave-safe bowl. Add red pepper flakes if desired. Heat thoroughly.
Pasta and Bean Italiano

1 packet HMR® 500 Chicken Soup
1 HMR® Chicken Pasta Parmesan Entree
1/2 cup cannellini (white kidney) beans

Whisk soup and 6-8 oz. hot water until blended. Heat entree for 1 minute in microwave. Cover beans and heat in microwave for 45 seconds. Combine soup, entree and beans. Stir to mix.

Creamy Creole Casserole

1 packet HMR® 500 Chicken Soup
1 HMR® Chicken Crole Entree
1 Cup Mixed vegetables (i.e. carrots, peas, potatoes)

Whisk soup with 1-1/3 cup hot water until it reaches a sauce consistnecy. Set aside. Heat entree for 1 minute in microwave. Cook vegetables according to package directions. Combine entree and vegetables, then stir in chicken soup sauce.

Corn Chowder

1 packet HMR® 500 Chicken Soup
1/2 cup corn
1/2 cup cooked potato cubes
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Dash of Pepper
Dash of cayenne (optional)

Add 3/4 cup hot water to blender. Begin mixing on low speed. Add the chicken soup mix. Gradually add the corn, potatoes, and seasoning, and blend until thoroughly mixed.

Super Risotto Stew

1 HMR® Mushroom Risotto Entree
1 HMR® Turkey Chili Entree
1 packet HMR 500 Chicken Soup
Dash of garlic and/or onion powder

Combine entrees in slow cooker. Prepare soup with 6 oz. water and add to the entrees. Season with garlic and/or onion powder and stir. Cook on low setting for 4-5 hours, stirring occasionally.

Five-Bean Casserole and Vegetable Stew with Beef
Chicken Creole and Five-Bean
Turkey Chili and Chicken Pasta Parmesan

No slow cooker? No problem. Just combine entrees, season, and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes
